We’ve had a lot of amiibo news as of late. While it’s really nice to know that Nintendo is opening up their amiibo platform to any developer/publisher that wants to manufacturer their own amiibo for upcoming games, Nintendo still continue to bring out new and different amiibo.
The new Mega Yarn Yoshi is almost here, and looks to be the largest amiibo the company have ever released. The normal Yarn Yoshi amiibo is already cute enough, but now you’ll also be able to wrap your arms around this new mega-sized version.
As with every other amiibo this mega-sized Yoshi a fully functional NFC figurine. The NFC tag is built into one of Yoshi’s feet and will activate all sorts of things within Yoshi’s Woolly World like the “Double Yoshi” feature. It will also open up new features in both Smash and Mario Kart 8. This incredibly cute amiibo will be priced at $39.99 and will hit store shelves on November 15th.
One can only imagine how quickly this amiibo will sell out and find its way onto eBay at insane prices –the figure is already priced at $40 while standard amiibo are $15. Best bet is to pre-order this one when you can.
